SobApp

Most sobriety apps want an account, a questionnaire and a streak to shame you with. People in recovery hand over some of the most personal data there is, and a hard day is the worst time to fight an app. We co-founded SobApp to build the opposite: a quiet companion, Czech first, that asks for nothing and still has something useful to say on day one and on day three hundred.

We built SobApp as a native iOS app on Expo with a Go content API behind it. Counters, streaks and reset history live only on the device, so there's no account and nothing personal to upload. Milestone videos stream from Cloudflare and unlock as the streak grows. Grow is a small library of courses and articles, and the Help tab has tap-to-call crisis lines and a map of support nearby. AI Mike answers from vetted content and asks for consent before a single message leaves the phone. Content is edited in an admin dashboard and goes live without an App Store release.
