/About

We build digital products that work as hard as you do.

steezr is a small, founder-led studio based in Prague. We design, build, and maintain software for companies that care about quality — and don't want to deal with agency overhead.

How we got here

steezr started in 2020 as a one-person operation — Johnny building websites from a flat in Prague. No pitch decks, no sales team, no office. Just good work, delivered on time, for people who valued craft over process. Clients kept coming back, and they kept referring others. That's still how most of our work starts today.

We grew slowly and deliberately. Every person we brought on had to care about the work the same way we do. We never chased scale for its own sake. The result is a tight team that moves fast, communicates directly, and ships things we're proud of. No account managers, no handoffs, no telephone game. You talk to the people who build your product.

The person behind it

Johnny Unar

Founder & Lead Engineer

I didn't start steezr to build an agency. I started it because I wanted to do great work with great people — without the politics, the layers, and the bullshit that comes with most companies. Every project we take on, I treat like it has my name on it. Because it does.

Johnny is a software engineer and designer based in Prague. He's been shipping digital products for over a decade — across startups, agencies, and his own ventures. He writes code, reviews every design, and talks to every client directly. At steezr, there's no gap between leadership and the work.

How we operate

01

Full transparency

You see everything — the progress, the problems, the trade-offs. We share our screen, not a filtered status report. If something is off track, you hear it from us before you have to ask.

02

Precision over volume

We don't take on 20 projects at once. We take on a few and do them exceptionally well. Every detail gets attention because we have the bandwidth to give it.

03

Direct communication

No project managers relaying messages. You talk to the engineers and designers doing the work. Decisions happen in hours, not weeks. Feedback loops are tight.

04

Ownership mentality

We treat your product like our own. That means pushing back on bad ideas, suggesting better approaches, and caring about the outcome long after launch day.

Sounds like a fit?

We're selective about the projects we take on — and we'd love to hear about yours.
